2013 Junior College Simulated National Championship

The 2013 Junior College National Championship will be decided December 8th at the Mississippi Bowl in Biloxi, Mississippi. The two teams competing are #1 Georgia Military College and #2 East Mississippi Community College. Both teams have had fantastic years and they both finished the regular season as the nations only 2 undefeated teams. Lets look back on each teams season and how they got here.

East Mississippi Community College is a member of the Mississippi Association of Community & Junior College Conference (MACJC). They had 5 games this season that were shutouts. Game 2 against East Central (59-0), Game 3 against Southwest Mississippi (69-0), Game 4 against Mississippi Delta (70-0), Game 6 against Holmes (55-0), & Game 7 against Northeast Mississippi. Out of their 11 consecutive wins they had 2 Quality Wins against #5 Mississippi Gulf Coast (45-28) and #4 Jones County (61-24). The victory against Jones County earned East Mississippi a Conference Championship. Their 2013 season earned them an astounding Hammer Tournament Score of 57.8182.

Georgia Military is an independent team in the National Junior College Athletic Association. They had some high scoring games this season but did not have any shutouts. Out of their 11 consecutive wins they had 4 Quality Wins against #2 Snow (35-17), #10 ASA (22-15), #2 Iowa Western (48-38), & #6 Nassau (45-22). Their 2013 season earned them 26.5455 for a Hammer Tournament Score.

Let the simulation begin.

The fate of this game is decided early. how early? you might ask. At the end of the first half the score is 62-27 in favor of East Mississippi. I am predicting that an unheard of amount of scoring will take place in this National Championship game. and the final score for this simulated National Championship is East Mississippi 62, Georgia Military 36. Obviously the actual game that will be played on December 8th wont/shouldn’t have any scoring like that but I am still predicting that #2 East Mississippi will upset #1 Georgia Military.
